1. Scope

This policy covers cookies and similar storage/access technologies such as local/session storage used on Exterior Quote.

2. Strictly necessary / requested functions

Technologies may be used where necessary for login/security, quote basket/session functions, payment redirects, consent choices or another function explicitly requested by the user, where the applicable legal exception permits this.

3. Exterior Quote aggregate analytics

The first-party Site Analytics module is designed for the UK statistical-purpose exception: events are immediately aggregated, no individual visitor journey or random visitor identifier is retained in the analytics database, data is used only to understand/improve the service, and users can object simply and without charge. A browser session may store only a boolean so a visit is counted once.

4. Technologies requiring consent

Advertising, profiling or any analytics/storage-access technology that does not meet an applicable exception must remain blocked until the required valid consent is obtained. Refusing or withdrawing must be as easy as accepting.

5. Current technology list

Exterior Quote Consent Manager keeps a central technology register and blocks registered non-exempt technologies by purpose rather than relying on a page-count-limited crawler. The register must be reviewed whenever plugins, embeds or providers change.

6. Change or withdraw your choice

You can reopen the consent controls at any time and change optional choices. Refusing or withdrawing optional consent does not disable strictly necessary functions.
