1. What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and similar storage/access technologies used on Exterior Quote. These can include cookies, local storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies that store information on, or access information from, a user’s device.
2. Necessary technologies
Some technologies may be necessary for functions requested by the user, security, session handling, quote baskets, log-in or consent preferences. Where an applicable legal exception permits these, they may operate without optional consent.
3. Analytics, advertising and other optional technologies
Where analytics, advertising, profiling or other non-exempt storage/access technologies require consent, they must not be activated before the required consent is obtained. Users must be given clear information and controls that make refusing or withdrawing consent as easy as giving it.
4. Current cookie list
The exact list of technologies depends on the WordPress plugins, hosting, analytics, advertising and embedded services actually enabled. Exterior Quote must complete a live cookie/tracker audit before launch and keep the consent tool and this policy aligned with that audit. This policy by itself does not block third-party tracking.
5. Changing preferences
The site’s consent mechanism should allow users to revisit and change non-essential technology choices. Browser controls can also remove stored cookies, but browser settings do not replace the site’s own consent obligations where those apply.
6. Contact
Questions about the technologies used on this site can be sent to info@exteriorquote.co.uk.
